FINANCIAL COVERAGE
- $180,000 is awarded as the President’s International Scholarship of Excellence ($45,000 x 4 years).
- $120,000 ($30,000 x 4 years) is the Tentanda Via Award.
- $80,000 ($20,000 x 4 years) is the Global Leader of Tomorrow Award.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
All of the following requirements must be fulfilled in order for you to be eligible for the major international scholarships:
- The individual must be a foreign student who requires authorization in order to study in Canada.
- You must have enrolled in York University’s undergraduate programme beginning in the fall of 2024.
- Must have applied to York High School as soon as possible after graduating, no more than two years later, and without having taken any coursework at another institution or university (not for the Tentanda Via Award).
- A very good school report with a minimum grade of “A” or equivalent is required.
- They have to have demonstrated leadership by lending a hand to others or excelling in athletics, the arts, or other pursuits where they have talent.
- I must supply a recommendation letter and any further documents that may be required.
- By February 15, 2024, at 11:59:59 p.m. Eastern Time, make sure that all necessary documents are shown as “Received” on the York application (MyFile).
- The online International Student Scholarship Application must be filled out and submitted by February 15, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time.
