Program Details
The Rotary Peace Fellowship program extends up to 130 fully-funded scholarships to passionate leaders aiming to advance their expertise in peace and conflict resolution. Successful applicants will gain admission to either a Professional Development Certificate Program or a Master’s Degree program at world-renowned universities.

Participating Universities and Courses
- In the USA, programs include the Master of International Development Policy at Duke University & various degrees at the University of North Carolina.
- Japan’s International Christian University offers a Master’s in Peace Studies.
- The University of Bradford in the UK provides an MA in Advanced Practice in Peacebuilding and Conflict Resolution.
- The University of Queensland in Australia presents a Master of Peace and Conflict Studies.
- Uppsala University in Sweden specializes in an M.Sc. in Peace and Conflict Studies.
- Uganda’s Makerere University offers a Post-Graduate Diploma in Peace and Development Studies.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS
- Candidates must have relevant work experience (three years for the master’s program, five years for the certificate program)
- English proficiency, a bachelor’s degree, and
- Demonstrate leadership skills along with a commitment to cross-cultural understanding and community service.
Number of Scholarships Available
50 scholarships for master’s degrees and 80 for certificate programs are awarded each year.
